How to Request Access and Become a CareLearner:

Please Note: To access the online courses you will need both an email and Secure Access Washington (SAW) account before you can submit your request form.
If you do not have an email or SAW account scroll down to bottom of this page to review instructions on how to create one.
Step 2. Enter the required information within the request form

- First Name (50 characters or less).
- Middle Name (optional).
- Last Name (50 characters or less).
- Email Address (Must be associated with your Secure Access Washington account as the Primary Email address).
- Birthdate (Used to help track your CE credits if you do not work at a DDA work setting).
- Primary Language (Select the language you speak best).
- Secondary Language (Select the language you speak second-best).
- Facility Type (Select the type of setting you work in. Multiple selections are allowed).
- Role (Select the role that describes your work).
- County (Select the County in Washington State your primary work setting - facility type is located.)
Step 3. Review your information for accuracy and click Submit

New user account requests are typically processed once per week.
Once your account is Active, you will receive a
Welcome to CareLearn email.
If you do not receive any follow up communication within 7 days of submitting your request form please email CareLearnSupport@dshs.wa.gov.

After You Submit Your Account Request Form:
You will immediately receive a Post Survey Message indicating your submission has been received
You will also receive a CareLearn system generated email notifying you your account has been created

Please Note: Licensing prohibits more than one account per user. To edit any information submitted within your form please contact CareLearnSupport@dshs.wa.gov.
Within 7 days of submitting your form you will then receive an email from the CareLearn Help Desk

The email titled "Welcome to CareLearn" will contain instructions on how to login on both desktop and mobile devices as well as how to complete your first caregiver training course.

The system generated email titled “Your CareLearn User Account” will announce your CareLearn account has been successfully created and you are now able to access any of the available online courses.
